What
do we
do?

There are three main strands to our teaching:

  • Term-time after school and at weekends
  • Regular Half Term and Holiday Workshops
  • In Schools

Within these sessions children
can do the LAMDA exam course.

We pride ourselves on a high quality experience and we all have a lot of fun whilst learning through drama games, exercises and role-play.

We teach:

  • Deportment (how to carry yourself properly)
  • Articulation (how to speak clearly)
  • Communication (how to talk, listen and interact with others)
  • Courtesy

Each Workshop has a theme; these have included WWII, Shakespeare, Ancient Egypt and Charles Dickens.

Through the drama exercises, we develop:

  • Focus
  • Concentration
  • Memory

As professional actors, these skills are the tools of our trade; but clearly, these skills are also of great value to our children in any walk of life.

Drama Queens

has developed a unique, effective and fun way to pass on these fundamental skills through our plays, original music and teaching methods.
